Benefits of treating gray hair with toasted onion peel:

  1. Restoring natural hair color: Roasted onion peels, combined with curry leaves and black seeds, help promote melanin production in hair follicles, which can help restore natural hair color and reduce the appearance of gray hair.
  2. Nutrition and strengthening: The combination of curry leaves, black seeds and cloves nourishes the hair and strengthens the roots, making it less prone to breakage.
  3. Promotes healthy hair growth: The natural oils and ingredients in this treatment stimulate circulation in the scalp, which can help stimulate hair growth, prevent thinning, and maintain thick, healthy hair.
  4. Rich in antioxidants: Onion peel contains antioxidants that help fight damage caused by free radicals, which can be one of the causes of premature graying and hair loss.
  5. Improves scalp health: This treatment also helps to balance the scalp's oil production, preventing dryness and dandruff, factors that can lead to unhealthy hair.

In addition to the home remedies mentioned above, some people also use garlic peel for gray hair, as it is rich in antioxidants.

Ingredients

  1. Garlic peels: The papery outer skin of garlic cloves. You'll need about a cup of garlic peels, which you can get from 5 to 6 heads of garlic.
  2. Powdered tea: 2 tablespoons. Powdered tea is a natural hair dye.
  3. Khatta (Katachu): 1 teaspoon. Khatta is an extract from the acacia tree and is known to enhance hair volume, shine, and color.
  4. Olive oil (or any hair oil): To mix the powder dye.

Instructions

Whenever you use garlic for cooking, peel it and store it in a bag or container. Be sure to remove any thick or sticky bits of the peel. Collect enough peels to fill a cup.

Roast garlic peels

  1. Roast the garlic peels: Heat a pan over low heat and add the garlic peels. Roast them slowly until they turn black. This process may take between 10 and 15 minutes.
  2. Add powdered tea: When the garlic peels are black, add 2 tablespoons of powdered tea to the pan. The mixture will begin to smoke; at that point, turn off the heat.
  3. Cool the mixture: Let the mixture cool for a few minutes. Remove any unwanted parts from the garlic peels.
